The Contemporary Deadbolt exemplifies the modern style with a subtle, low profile cylinder for an elegant appearance, and offers more flexibility in coordinating your door hardware.
Single Cylinder: Single cylinder deadbolt has a keyed cylinder on the exterior and a thumbturn on the interior. Unlocking and locking the deadbolt is done by either a key on the exterior or via the thumbturn on the interior.
Available in 3 variations: Keyed to Differ, Keying Alike, Dummy
‘Keyed to Differ’ is simply where each lock will come with its own key, one which cannot be used on any other locks.
‘Keying Alike‘ is where all locks within a set have the same key code, or in other words, one key can used to open multiple locks within the set.
‘Dummy’ is simply non-turning deadbolt, has no mechanism. Usually used on fixed (non-operating) door of double doors, it has a “blank” key cylinder, no latch is provided or normally needed.
